Amphy is a dynamic two-sided marketplace that connects talented teachers with students through live video classes, enabling a convenient and engaging learning experience from the comfort of home. The platform allows educators to reach a broader audience and provides students with access to a diverse range of subjects and skills, aligning with Amphy's mission to create “A Brighter Us.”
In this marketplace:
The transaction process on Amphy involves booking and paying for classes online. Students choose the classes they wish to attend, complete the purchase, and then participate in the live sessions via video.
Journeyhorzion took over this project for Amphy after a poor start with another development partner. After an initial period of rectifying issues in the implementation by the previous partner, we moved on to start building out new features for the Amphy team. The relationship has grown from strength to strength with Amphy 2.0 recently released.

- Teachers serve as sellers by creating listings for their live classes. These listings include detailed descriptions, class schedules, pricing, and any required materials.
- Students, acting as buyers, can browse through the available classes, select those that match their interests and needs, and enroll directly through the platform.
